This guy really makes you think. I hope I can instill in my kids some or all of what he says, I think he’s brave and I give him allot of credit. I hope his doctors are wrong its been known to
happen. But if not I hope he has the opportunity to spend most of his remaining time with is kids and I hope they remember it always. I know I’m not the father I had hoped to be but I truly love my kids and if nothing else I hope they realize that all I do and say is for them and I hope they remember that always and long after I’m gone.
Russell, I so agree with you. I can only hope that my kids will remember me with love and know that I tried my best to be there for them and be the best mom that I can be. And, boy do I hope that his doctors are wrong.
Thanks for visiting!

Wow! I am truly amazed by what this man has to offer us all, if we just listen. Great words from one whom has all the reason in the world to just not care. I applaud you sir! I lost my wife to Pancreatic Cancer in 2001. It’s a brutal disease and I hope and pray that one day, in my lifetime I’ll get to see an absolute cure for this disease. God willing, I will.
I wanted to add my “two cents” in response because I believe more people in this wonderful world of ours need to hear his message and try to follow what he is telling us. The world will be such a better place. What say we ALL try?
God Bless you sir and if I’m lucky, I hope to see you on the other side. I pray you get to experience a miracle.

Russell, I wish you many happy days that you can accomplish more and when it is time for you to leave your lovely family, they will have so much joy in remembering you.
I thing your act of love for making this video for your family will be very appreciated and charished.
I have lost my father at age 7, my sister who died of cancer and left three boys of her own behind and my brother in law to the same cancer you have. It makes me happy to think of them and all the encouraging things they left behind for me and others.
The deal is we all have to die sometime! I agree we better make the most of it. I also feel that is what the scriptures teach us to do as well, just as you stated in your video.
God Bless You!

I just faced my own mortality with a diagnoses of breat cancer and came out with the same feelings he shares, make each day count and make it the best it can be, and follow your dreams.

What a blessing to have had parents that encouraged childhood dreams! I am raising my six year old grandson and hope to give him a place to soar – just as you had. I tend to be an Eeyore, so I have to fight against pessimism and darkness all the time. However, I know that my Redeemer lives, for me, for you, for all. Thank you for speaking out about what matters most – life and life abundant! JH

WOW, what an inspiration. A great Dad he is, to have left this message for his children to see when they can. Hopefully they will be as strong as he is about life.
I loved it when that song came out on the radio, “Live like you were dying” everyday pray hard, work hard, and play hard !!! pretty much the same as Tigger, and this wonderful speaker. CP
