Yes… it’s true… after walking by this gorgeous San Marino estate a couple of times a week and watching the construction or lack of for the last year or so, I was saddened to see that this beautiful home, located on the corner of St. Albans and Huntington Drive, is going up for auction by the bank – a foreclosure sale.

If you have lots of cash, and I mean over $2 million in cash, it’s your opportunity to pick up this majestic estate on Wednesday. The auction will be held on the steps of the Los Angeles County Courthouse in Norwalk this Wednesday at 10 am. The address is 12720 Norwalk Blvd.

Minimum bid is $1,992,558 for the first mortgage and $240,000 for the 2nd mortgage.

These types of foreclosure sales require ALL CASH and do not guarantee clear title. This means that if there are any liens against the property (mechanic’s, tax liens, etc) the new owner will inherit them.

If there are no takers, this San Marino home will be marketed as a foreclosure by a real estate agent and will hit our local Multiple Listing Service – just like the San Marino foreclosure home (bank owned home) I wrote about over the weekend.
