San Marino Real Estate – Broker’s Open House Thoughts

Every Thursday morning, real estate agents have an opportunity to view homes in San Marino, before the general public.

Today, I brought my handy dandy Kodak V705 to snap a few pics and decided to capture initial impressions.

First stop – 1842 Twin Plams Drive

Twin Palms

  • Great location, beautiful street
  • Minutes from Huntington Middle School
  • 2 story colonial – 3 bedrooms plus den and 3 baths.
  • Sunny and bright
  • Beautiful kitchen; great outdoor bbq; nice flow
  • All bedrooms are upstairs except for the den on the first floor; could be challenging for older couples.
  • Overall, a nice family home – offered at $1,795,000

2nd stop – 2065 Courtland Avenue

  • Nice location, good sized lot and a beautiful pool
  • Gorgeous front door
  • Newer mediterranean construction
  • Floor plan felt choppy; needs paint and doesn’t feel cared for
  • Priced, at over $4 million – unfortunately, didn’t feel like an estate and in my opinion, priced a bit high!

3rd stop – 1332 Wilbury Road

  • Lovely street north of Huntington, a few blocks from the San Marino High School
  • Nice kitchen, beautiful living room, updated bathrooms
  • home feels added on to… it just goes on and on – in one direction.
  • Oferred at $1,628,000

All three homes will be open this weekend.  If you’d like more information, please email me at Irina@Irina4RealEstate.com or call at 626.627.7107.

On Broker’s Open House, I try to see handful of homes in San Marino. I found 1842 Twin Palms to be bright, comfortable, and overall a nice property for the price.

Nice house I have to say the curb appeal is WOW. I love Azaleas and Dogwood trees. Reminds me of my grandparents house add a wall of hydragias and lialacs and your have there yard. Many people are sold on a house as soon as they see the curb appeal and this one is a winner.

Agree… beautiful home with great curb appeal. No wonder that the sellers received several offers almost immediately and it’s already in escrow. Thanks for stopping by Blue Ridge Cabin Rentals.
