<p>Honestly, I was not very impressed with this home. It felt very confined and the bottom floor was very fragmented. This San Marino home is listed as having 4,101 sq. ft. and has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths.</p>
<p>At $719 per sq. ft., this home is extremely overpriced considering the<a title="San Marino real estate market report September" href="http://www.pasadenacarealestatehomes.com/san-marino-real-estate-market-housing-report-september-2008"> average price per square foot of sold homes in September was $625/sq. ft.</a> and in October was $575/sq. ft. </p>
<p>Owners state that they updated all the major systems in 2004.  The gourmet kitchen is certainly gorgeous, but the overall feeling of the home did not reflect modern or newer updates.</p>
<p>It is a gated home, North of Huntington Drive closer to the <a href="http://pasadenaviews.com/south-pasadena-city-guide/" >South Pasadena</a> border.  It&#8217;s on a quiet street off of Los Robles. </p>
<p>It was originally built in 1938.</p>
<p>2245 Ashbourne Drive is listed by Coldwell Banker and is offered for sale at $2,950,000.</p>

<p>This Mediterranean, 2 story home is 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and is listed as having 3,668 sq. ft.  The lot size is 12,250 and this home was built in 1925.</p>
<p>This home is situated minutes from <a title="Lacy Park - A Hidden Treasure" href="http://www.pasadenacarealestatehomes.com/lacy-park-in-san-marino-ca-a-hidden-treasure">Lacy Park</a> and is next to Valentine Elementary School and Huntington Middle School. </p>
<p>There was a lot of natural light, plenty of windows and it was nicely updated.  The kitchen was spectacular and the back yard had a nice pool although was a bit on the smaller side.</p>
<p>Listed by Coldwell Banker at $2,2950,000 at $625/sq.ft, this San Marino home is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a nice family home in the <a title="San Marino Community information" href="http://pasadenaviews.com/san-marino-city-guide/">San Marino community</a>.</p>

<h2>1635 Rubio Drive, San Marino</h2>
<p>What can I say?  This home has been on the market for almost 5 months now.  It has had 3 price reductions already - originally priced at $1,790,000, reduced to $1,650,000 and is finally now at $1,499,000.</p>
<p>This <strong>San Marino home</strong> would require major renovating.  It qualifies for my <a title="San Marino Dusty Deals" href="http://www.pasadenacarealestatehomes.com/real-estate-aquot-dusty-dealsaquot-september-2008">dusty deals list</a>, but boy, it needs to be reduced much further to bring in a buyer.  At $557/sq. ft., I expect this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home to stay on the market a bit longer.</p>
